From Campus to Career

From Campus to Career
Real career stories, practical advice and meaningful connections.

Wondering what life after uni actually looks like? Join the Curtin Information Systems Society (CISS) for an evening with recent Curtin graduates who have made the jump from campus to career and are now thriving in industry.

What to expect

• Individual talks: Hear first-hand from Curtin alumni about how they got where they are, what the transition from study to work was really like, and what they wish they’d known as students.
• Practical advice: Takeaways you can use now, from making the most of your time at uni to landing your first role.
• Live Q&A: Ask our speakers your own questions about careers, applications and breaking into the industry.
• Networking: Stay after the talks to meet the speakers and your fellow students over food and drinks.

Why we’re running it
Our goal is to give Curtin students a clear, honest picture of the path from study to work, told by people who walked it recently, and to help you build connections along the way.
